A committed team of six volunteers from our office and warehouse recently visited Billingshurst Primary School to redecorate a former IT room. What was once scuffed and stained is now a warm and welcoming nurture room for the young students.
Over two days, they prepped the walls by chiselling off glue and filling in any damage before painting them with a fresh coat of magnolia. The skirting boards were also finished in a striking gloss black to match the rest of the school.
Ms. Ley, Headteacher at Billingshurst Primary, extended her heartfelt thanks stating the school was “indebted” and “excited” to begin utilising their newly transformed nurture room.
Richard Runalls, Governor at Billingshurst Primary and Operations Manager at PLASSON UK, said: “I’m really pleased we’ve been able to help at the school. It was extremely rewarding to have several children and teachers pop their heads in showing us their excitement.
“This project falls right in line with our core values of Responsibility and Commitment and provided an excellent opportunity for us to have a positive impact in the local community.”
